역대급 추경으로 재정건전성은 계속 악화되어 이번 추경으로 국내총생산(GDP) 대비 국가채무비율은 48.2%까지 치솟았는데요. 1년 사이에 8.4%포인트(P)가 증가했습니다. 국가채무도 160조 7000억원 급증해서 965조 9000원입니다. 

 

 

 

이런 가운데 코로나19 사태 추이에 따라서 추가적으로 보편지급이 가능하다는 언급이 나오면서 관심이 생기게 되었는데요.

문재인 대통령은 지난달 "코로나에서 벗어날 상황이 되면 국민 위로 지원금, 전국민위로금을 검토할 수 있다"라고 이야기 했습니다. 

 

 

 

금액이나 지급 시기에 대해서는 구체적인 언급이 없었지만 미리 에측을 해보자면 국내 백신 접종이 시작되면서 아마 올해 하반기 쯤에는 코로나19 사태가 진정되지 않을까 라는 예측들이 많은데 백신접종이 어느정도 진척을 보이고 확진자 수가 확연히 줄어들면 정치권에서 공론화 하지 않을까? 합니다. 정부관계자의 의견도 비슷하다고 기사에서 확인했습니다. 

 

 

그리고 선별지급을 볼 때 매번 반복되는 재난지원금의 금액이 줄어들지 않고 같거나 늘어나는걸로 봐서는 전국민 위로금도 아마 작년과 비슷한 금액으로 또 지금되지 않을까 생각이 됩니다. 전문가분들은 규모가 크지 않을거라 예측을 하고 있는 상황이라고 합니다. 이렇게 되면 추경으로 10조원 이상의 금액이 또 필요한 상황인데, 만약 실행이 된다면 올해 나랏빚이 1000조원을 넘기는 상황이라서 전국민 위로금 , 재난 지원금에 대해 부정적인 의견도 많이 있습니다. 

 

저 역시 늘어나는 국채가 걱정은 되지만 이번 4차 재난지원금 선별지급이 너무 형평성에 떨어지는 것 같아서 이럴바엔 전국민 대상으로 보편지급이 더 타당하는 생각이 드는 상황입니다.
